WOCN has secured a limited number of sleeping rooms within three world-class hotels in Minneapolis, each within easy walking distance of the Minneapolis Convention Center. Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Connecting more than seven miles of downtown climate-controlled bliss, an enclosed SkyWay connects each of these hotels with the Convention Center close by.

May 26, 2006 is the cut-off date for availability of these rates:

WOCN attendees can obtain hotel accommodations through The Greater Minneapolis Convention & Visitors Association (GMCVA). Reservations at the above special rates must be made through GMCVA. WOCN Society is financially obligated to fulfill a pre-determined total of sleeping rooms. We encourage you to "stay within the block" of rooms at these reduced, negotiated rates.

Creating Your Reservations. Two Options and Easy Steps:

1. Register on line through WOCN's web site. Point your browser to www.wocn.org. Click on "WOCN 2006 38th Annual Conference" Then click on "To Obtain Hotel Room Reservations On-line" The link will transport you to the central reservation center for "PassKey" which manages the reservation process. 2. Click here for the Official Attendee Housing Form. Attached to this form is a local Minneapolis map illustrating each hotel's proximity to the Minneapolis Convention Center . Complete the Official Attendee Housing Form.

Guidelines:
Confirmations are available via US mail within one week. Use only one method of submitting your reservation. Twenty (20) or more rooms must be requested in writing and are subject to approval by WOCN prior to assignment. Each block may occupy more than one hotel. Send requests to the Housing Bureau. Rooming list names must be provided by April 26, 2006. After May 26, 2006, the WOCN rate is not guaranteed and higher rates may apply. The special conference rate will be available 3 days before and after the conference, space permitting.
