About
WOCN
Founded in 1968, the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses (WOCN)
Society is the only national organization for nurses who specialize
in the management and rehabilitation of persons with wounds, ostomies,
and incontinence. WOCN members have access to an extensive network
of renowned professionals specializing in wound care, ostomy rehabilitation,
and continence management.
Mission
The WOCN Society is a professional nursing society that supports
its members by promoting educational, clinical, and research opportunities
to advance the practice and guide the delivery of expert health
care to individuals with wounds, ostomies, and incontinence.
