annual conference on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, with the Positive Impact Award for Cycling for Scholarships!What?
The WOCN Society along with a founding member, Dr. Katherine Jeter, embarked on one of the most comprehensive fundraising initiatives to date in 2011.Why?
To raise $200,000 in nursing scholarship funds to support the continued education of WOC nurses.Where?
3,100 miles across the United States.How?

Raise awareness about WOC, raise funds for the WOCN Society and generate interest in the field among nurses and nursing students.The original projected goal was exceeded with a grand total of $214,252. The individual scholarship amount has since increased by 400% per award. Following this event, 20 scholarships were awarded in Fall 2011 through Spring 2012. Each recipient received $2,000 which resulted in a grand total of $40,000 in scholarship money distributed!
