NEW! Committees Tab on the WOCN Website

The WOCN Society is pleased to announce that we now have a WOCN Committees tab on the WOCN website. The tab can be found under the "About Us" section or by clicking here.
By visiting the Committees tab on the website, you can view more information on volunteering, current committee members, or guidelines for document and image submission.
NEW document! "Teen Chat: You and Your Ostomy"
"Teen Chat: You and Your Ostomy" is a teen friendly resource that highlights information on the digestive and urinary systems, types of ostomies, ostomy products and usage, what to expect after surgery, diet and nutrition and information on transitioning back from surgery. This document is a great resource and can be found in the WOCN Public Library. We encourage you to use this information as a helpful guide and communication tool for your teen ostomy patients.

For more information, click here.
2013 Call for Volunteers
If you are interested in becoming active at the national level, improving your leadership skills, and earning professional growth points while expanding your professional experience, volunteer to serve on a committee. View committee descriptions here.
We invite you to join our active and resourceful group of volunteers. If you are a member and able to participate on conference calls and communicate electronically, you're qualified, so volunteer today!

You do not need to reapply for a committee you are currently serving on. However, if current committee members are interested in special projects and content validation, please submit an application for those two areas and not your current committee.

Make sure you are logged in to the Member Center to fill out the Volunteer Form.
The WOCN Market:
The Society's 45th Anniversary Celebration
The Society's 45th Anniversary Celebration event will be held at Bell Harbor International Conference Center on Tuesday, June 25, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Bell Harbor is located on the Seattle waterfront, approximately 5 blocks from the Sheraton Seattle Hotel.
The WOCN Market will include food trucks, local vendors, photo booths and entertainment provided by The Nines. We encourage you to take advantage of the nice weather and stroll down to the Harbor. However, there will also be transportation available if you choose not to walk.

Cost to attend is $50 per person and includes food, drinks and entertainment. Don't miss out on the party! Add a ticket to your order when you register for Conference. If you are already registered and you would like to update or change your registration for the 45th Anniversary Celebration, please click here.
