Mark Your Calendar-- WOCN Society Town Hall Meeting

Join Us for an Informative Town Hall Meeting
In April 2013, the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society™ (WOCN®) Board of Directors conducted a strategic retreat to examine the future state of the WOCN Society as an organization and the WOC nursing specialty practice with a focus on aligning the organization with the changing legislative and healthcare environment. As a result of the meeting, the Board identified four strategic pillars (Advocacy, Education, Research, and Member Engagement) in an effort to meet the needs of our members and the WOC community.

In just a few weeks the WOCN Society will host two identical Town Hall Meetings to unveil the strategic initiatives for 2014.

Please join us to learn about:
  • The involvement of the organization in the regulatory and legislative arena
  • Initiatives to increase public awareness of the value of the WOC nurse
  • Strategies to increase accessibility and utilization of the WOCN Society's existing evidence and research outcomes
  • The development of tools to provide leadership education for members
