Public Policy Update

Recently there have been three proposed public policy updates. The WOCN Society has responded to these policy updates. Click below to read the Society's responses:
WOC Nurses not WOCNs

This is a friendly reminder in the event that you're asked to speak or write about WOC nursing, it is important to use the proper verbiage when referring to a WOC nurse.

Please refer to wound, ostomy and continence nurses as WOC nurses, not WOCNs. WOCN is a registered trademark of the WOCN Society and does not refer to a certified wound, ostomy and continence nurse.
