One Day Left

There is only one day left to submit your nominations for the following open positions:
This is your chance to make a difference for the WOCN Society. Please consider nominating an individual(s) that would match the qualifications we are seeking.

The deadline for nominations is Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015
at 11:59 am EST.

Please Note: Active members who are employed by a commercial industry that provides products or services as defined in the WOCN policy are not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.
The Lymphedema Treatment Act

The Society is a strong supporter of legislation that is currently before Congress. The Lymphedema Treatment Act would provide Medicare coverage for compression therapy. We are pleased to announce that this legislation (H.R. 1608) now has a companion bill in the U.S. Senate (S. 2373).

We are proud to be collaborating with the Lymphedema Advocacy Group on this important legislation, and they have provided an easy way for you to contact your members of Congress. Individuals can send an email letter to their senators and representatives in one easy step (template language provided) by going to capwiz.com.

Please take a moment to ask your members of Congress to cosponsor H.R. 1608 or S. 2373, and if your members are already sponsors, please thank them for their support.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of those living with lymphedema.
