Help Prevent Competitive Bidding

The Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society™ (WOCN®) has identified access to wound, ostomy and continence supplies as a public policy and advocacy priority with a goal to protect and enhance patients' access to wound, ostomy and continence supplies.
Help Prevent Competitive Bidding

The Society recently reported on the possibility of including ostomy and urological supplies in Medicare's competitive bidding program, which could have negative implications on providers and patients. It is imperative that ostomy and urological supplies do not become part of the competitive bidding program, as these supplies are not one-size-fits-all.

To ensure patients have access to quality, customizable healthcare products that meet individual needs, the Society has developed a two-phase response plan.
 
We need your help to prevent ostomy and urological supplies from becoming part of the competitive bidding program. We encourage you to join the effort by:
