New Tool for Peristomal Skin Complications

The Peristomal Skin Assessment Guide (PSAG) was developed to help non-expert clinicians standardize assessments, identify complications and provide interim management options for optimal outcomes in peristomal skin health.

The PSAG is a free, easy-to-use mobile tool that helps ensure that patients suffering from peristomal skin complications can receive treatment immediately if a WOC/ET nurse is not available.

Get the Guidelines Online

We've made it quick and easy for you to access our evidence-based guidelines on your mobile device(s) with the WOCN Clinical Practice Guideline Series.

A one-time purchase will provide you with on-demand access to the Society's latest clinical guidelines and tools, plus instant updates! Purchase the guideline series today through the online bookstore.
Support the Lymphedema Treatment Act

The Society's online public policy and advocacy platform Ignite makes it easy to quickly act on pressing federal and state issues by contacting legislators.

Send a letter to your elected officials to support the Lymphedema Treatment Act (H.R. 930/S. 497), which would amend a Medicare statute to pay for compression garments, bandages and supplies to reduce lymphedema-related swelling and prevent recurrence.
