We encourage you to submit an an abstract for the WOCN® Society's 50th Annual Conference to contribute to the historic legacy of the WOC nursing practice. Bring your research to life with an electronic poster (ePoster). Click here for more information on ePosters.

Before you prepare and submit an abstract:
Abstract submissions will be accepted through Nov. 1, 2017, 11:00 am EST/8:00 am PST.
Prepare for Certification
 
Get prepared for your certification exam with wound, ostomy and continence certification review courses available on the Continuing Education Center (CEC).
 
The certification review courses provide an overview of key content areas and test taking strategies to help you pass your certification exam.

The Southeast Region has over 700 dynamic WOC certified nurses from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. 51 of our members attend the regional membership meeting that was held during the WOCN Society's 49th Annual Conference. We are looking forward to the WOCN Society's 50th Annual Conference in Philadelphia, from June 3-6, 2018!

The Tennessee WOC nurse team is wrapping up preparations for our annual regional conference to be held in Knoxville, TN, from Sept. 28-30, 2017, at the Knoxville Convention Center. This year's conference theme is "Choose to Shine...Change the World! WOC Nurses - Leading the Way!" and the conference will be worth 18 CE credits. You may find more information on our conference website.

I would like to thank each board member, committee member and staff member for their continued hard work and dedication to our region. Their continued focus on our members is what makes us SHINE!

The United Ostomy Associations of America (UOAA) formally adopted the revised Ostomy and Continent Diversion Patient Bill of Rights. The rights are meant to empower those who live with an ostomy or continent diversion. The rights identity the needs and expectations for people who are currently living with an ostomy or continent diversion.
