Share Your Research at the 50th Annual Conference

There is less than one month left to prepare and submit an abstract describing a research study, case study or practice innovation for the WOCN® Society's 50th Annual Conference. The submission deadline is Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, 11:00 am EST. Authors will receive notification of acceptance or rejection in December 2017.

Suggested topics for abstracts include (but are not limited to):

Wound
  • Complex wound management
  • Foot and nail care
  • Nutritional issues in wound healing
Ostomy
  • Continent diversion issues
  • Psychosocial and quality of life aspects
  • Stomal/peristomal complications
Continence
  • Bladder and bowel issues
  • Continence complications
  • Management of intractable incontinence
Professional Practice
  • Implementing prevention programs
  • Role justification issues
  • Satisfaction measurement
First-Time Poster Presenters Could Win a Travel Scholarship Award

If this is will be your first time presenting a poster at a WOCN Society Annual Conference, you may be eligible to win a travel scholarship to Philadelphia, PA!

Sage Products will provide the WOCN Society with an unrestricted educational grant to offer a limited number of travel scholarships to support first-time abstract poster presenters with a focus on Preventative Practices for Wounds:
  • If your submission meets these criteria, be sure to check off the first-time presenter button and choose "Preventative Practices" under the Wound Category.
  • The travel scholarship can be used to offset conference expenses, including registration, airfare, hotel and meals.
