 contact your members of Congress and ask that they support the Lymphedema Treatment Act, which would amend Medicare statute to pay for compression garments, bandages and supplies to reduce lymphedema-related swelling and prevent recurrence.

49th Annual Conference Education Rebroadcast
Annual Conference Education Rebroadcast
Every year, the WOCN® Society strives to present timely, relevant and informative educational content featuring WOC speciality leaders. In the coming months, we will rebroadcast select ostomy-related sessions from the 49th Annual Conference and hold live Q&A with the presenters.

Can you provide expert insight on emerging health conditions? Did your team develop an innovative care model? Does your facility have resourceful outcome measures?

If so, consider submitting a proposal to present at the 50th Annual Conference during the Member Spotlight Sessions. Presenting at the Annual Conference is a great way to demonstrate your expertise as a WOC nurse.

Proposals are due by Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, at 11:00 am ET.
