The National Conference Planning Committee is working hard to ensure that your experience at the 50th Annual Conference is equal parts educational and engaging so that you leave informed, inspired and equipped with practical solutions to solve your organization's challenges.

The Society wants to make it as easy as possible to help you get to Philadelphia. We understand it may be difficult to get the support you need from your supervisor. Click here to download a sample letter that you can use as a guide when asking your supervisor for support.

Students must show proof of his or her current full-time student status (ex: copy of current enrollment or letter from faculty advisor) with registration. Click here for a sample of a letter from a faculty advisor.

Next month, we will rebroadcast a popular ostomy-related session from the 49th Annual Conference. This session will have a live Q&A period with the speaker and will award 1.00 contact hour.

This session is free to members and non-members, but registration is required.

Session Description:
Pediatric ostomy care poses many unique challenges to parents, caregivers and WOC nurses who do not have regular contact with the pediatric ostomy population. This session will discuss the common clinical issues encountered when caring for an infant or child with an ostomy. This session will also discuss the social and emotional challenges that face this population. Throughout this session, unique stories from nurses, children and their families will be told through Joanna Burgess, who has been an ostomate since the age of three.
