The Home Care for Your Gastrostomy Tube: A Guide for Patients is now available for FREE to WOCN® Society members as a member benefit. You can find the the new guide in the Member Center, and click "Member Library."

This handout provides instructions for a person with a gastrostomy tube for feeding or for drainage. The information can be personalized. The handout includes caring for skin around the tube site, considerations for medication, and guidance for tube problems. Publish Date: 8/24/11; 8 page booklet.

Are there lots of pictures in the guide? I have many patients that english is second language and even at that they do much better with pictures for learning.
