2012 Positions to Be Filled on the WOCN® Board & Nominating CommitteeThe WOCN® Society is now accepting nominations for the following open positions: Secretary, Treasurer, Director-at-Large (Areas 2 and 4), and Nominating Committee (Areas 2 and 4).
As the WOCN ® Society continues to evolve and grow, the Society will continue to need high caliber member volunteers whose backgrounds, skills, and experience match our mission and its current and future needs. As a valued member, we would like you to consider nominating an individual(s) that would match the qualifications we are seeking. See below for qualifications, election, terms, submission information, and nomination forms. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: February 27, 2012 Qualifications, Election, and Terms:
Secretary
Qualifications: (a) member in good standing for at least two years prior to the time of election; (b) current or prior board or standing committee chair position in a professional society either on a national, regional or affiliate level; (c) hold no other WOCN ® Society offices, elected or appointed at the same time, comply with the Conflict of Interest and Code of Conduct Statements. Election: Even-numbered years (ex. 2010, 2012, 2014…) Term: Two-year term (maximum: two consecutive terms)

Nominees for Director-at-Large, Area 2, must be from one of the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Europe.

Nominees for Director-at-Large, Area 4, must be from one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Africa, and Antarctica.
