The American Academy of Nursing (Academy) has announced its 2025 Class of Fellows—the largest cohort of exceptional nurse leaders in the organization’s history. The inductees were recognized for their significant contributions to health and health care during the Academy’s annual Health Policy Conference in October 2025, in Washington, DC.

We are thrilled to share that two WOCN® Society members have been selected for induction into this prestigious class of Fellows! Please join us in congratulating:

  • Kevin Emmons, DrNP, APN, AGPCNP-BC, CWCN, CFCN, WOCNF, FAAN – Rutgers University School of Nursing–Camden
  • Lynn Mohr, PhD, APRN, PCNS-BC, CPN, FCNS – Rush University College of Nursing

Induction into the American Academy of Nursing represents one of the highest honors in the nursing profession, recognizing individuals for their outstanding achievements, leadership, and impact on advancing health and health equity through nursing innovation, science, and policy.

The WOCN Society proudly celebrates Dr. Emmons and Dr. Mohr for their dedication to wound, ostomy, and continence nursing and their leadership within the broader nursing community.
