FLUSH ILEOSTOMY WITH IRRITANT DERMATITIS
Flush ileostomy with irritant dermatitis. Oval stoma-- small only 1&1/8 by 3/4 inches lying sideways. Os opens low. Protuberant hernia above further pushes the stoma into a lateral fold. Makes pouching difficult for an 85 yo female. Additional difficulty from bifocal glasses. Best success from convex cut to fit one piece with belt loops and belt. Due to extreme hip contours it is difficult to have a hernia belt stay in place. A baby support band has worked the best to hold back on hernia and appliance edges. We custom made the opening. Front view, close up.
