MDRSI Toe pressure cuff
L great toe 10 days after the use of a toe pressure cuff used for vascular study. Medical device related skin injury in a female diabetic patient over 65yrs.
INTRAVENOUS EXTRAVASATION INJURY
Extravasation injury approximately 3 weeks s/p peripheral IV infiltrate with Vasopressin.
ISTAP TYPE2 SKIN TEAR
International Skin Tear Advisory Panel classification type 2 skin tear.
CHRONIC VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY
Swelling in the lower leg with varicosities and pitting edema, gaiter distribution.
PYODERMA GRANULOSUM
A small, shallow ulcer on the lower extremity as a result of a condition that may start as small papules and progress to large ulcers that can cause pain and scarring and necrotic tissue.
VENOUS STASIS ULCER
Shallow ulcer on lower leg with periwound hemosiderin staining.
VENOUS STASIS ULCER WITH LIPODERMATOSCLEROSIS
Shallow irregularly shaped wound in an edematous lower leg. Compression hose pulled down to feet for viewing. Lipodermatosclerosis (tree bark appearance of skin).
