Congressional Nursing Caucus
In order to have a platform on Capitol Hill to address the issues that impact the nursing profession most, Representatives Lois Capps (D-CA) and David Joyce (R-OH) have established a bi-partisan Congressional Nursing Caucus. The Nursing Caucus allows Members of Congress an open forum to learn about and address a range of issues affecting the nursing community.

We urge you to review the list of current Caucus Members. If your Representative is not listed, consider sending them a letter to take action.
New! Student Nurse Presentation at National Student Nurses Association Conference
On April 3-7, the National Student Nurses Association held their Annual Convention in Charlotte, NC. WOCN Society Member Vici Hall, BSN, RN, CWON, CCCN, volunteered to speak on behalf of the Society. Using our new Student Nurse Presentation, located under the Library tab in "Marketing Tools," Ms. Hall taught students the value of a WOC nurse.

"It was very well received," said Hall. "I believe we have some up- and-coming WOC nurses in the group. It was fun to be part of their excitement."
