We Need Your Feedback
As part of the final process of updating the WOC Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the WOCN Society needs to solicit public comment. This step is vital in the final formulation of the document to assure it reflects the focus, scope and essence of the WOC nursing practice. Your comments will be evaluated by the Scope and Standards Task Force and used to strengthen the updated WOC Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice.

3M and the WOCN Society have partnered to recognize and promote health care facilities and their WOCN members who have implemented a patient care regimen resulting in improved skin integrity or the maintenance of patients' skin health as they undergo treatment in a health care facility.
The 3M Award for Excellence in Skin Safety recognizes an individual or team for creating and sustaining a successful skin damage prevention program that demonstrates positive clinical outcomes, teamwork and knowledge transfer. The WOCN Society will award the winning program with a complimentary trip to the 2016 WOCN Society and CAET Joint Conference, to be held from June 4-8 in Montreal, Québec, Canada. An individual or up to four members of the winning team will be invited to attend the conference, with the award covering conference registration, airfare and lodging.
