This WOCN award recognizes a new WOC nurse within his/hers first five (5) years of practice who is tri-specialty certified and destined to make a significant contribution to WOC care as an educator, a researcher, or in clinical practice. The Future is Bright Award is intended to recognize a new WOC nurse who exemplifies the scope of WOC nursing practice as defined in “WOC Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice”, 2nd Edition.
