Lead the CT group of WOC nurses for approximately 5 years; organized and led an ostomy support group for 3 years.

Received the Nightingale award and the Nurse of the year award at the 2024 conference from the New England chapter of the WOCN society

2011 – I was elected Clinician of the Year by Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts. I was the CWOCN at Home Health VNA of Lawrence (13 years)
2020 – I received an Innovator of the Year award at UMass Memorial Medical Center for developing and implementing a Sacral Foam Dressing trial, that subsequently became policy hospital-wide

“As a father of four and working 2-3 jobs since 1990, I did not make a lot of time to volunteer. I do have a few volunteer experiences.
I was a head coach in a boys/girls youth basketball league and was able to recruit and mentor numerous parents over the years. This gave me experience as a leader and teacher in the early to late 2000s.”
