New Continuing Education Course

A new foot and nail care continuing education course, It's More than Just Fungus: Nail Disease, was recently released on the Continuing Education Center (CEC). This course awards nursing Contact Hours and Pharmacology Credits, which is helpful for obtaining or maintaining an Advanced Practice certification.

There is now also a "Foot and Nail Care" tag on the CEC that enables you to filter and search for courses and additional resources that fall under the foot and nail care category.
New Section in the JWOCN

The Journal of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing ( JWOCN) has a new Foot and Nail Care section, which can be found under the current Table of Contents.

This new section will offer informative, practical and relevant articles to the field of nursing foot care. Tara Beuscher, DNP, RN-BC, GCNS-BC, ANP-BC, CWOCN, CFCN, NEA-BC, serves as the section editor and wrote a commentary piece that introduces the new section.
Foot and Nail Members-Only Forum

The Members-Only Forums includes a Foot and Nail section. Your fellow WOCN Society members are the best individuals for any type of question or inquiry related to foot care, including certification, billing, clinical instruments, continuing education, networking and more.

You must be logged in to the WOCN Member Center to view and post to the Forums.
JWOCN Certification Review Collection

The JWOCN has a Getting Ready for Foot Care Certification collection of evidence-based research articles aimed to help you get ready to sit for the foot care certification exam.

You can subscribe to collection alerts to be notified every time a new article is added.
