Walk for Ostomy Awareness
WOC nurses, future WOC nurses, ostomates, their families, their friends and their employers all walk together. Through education, clinical and emotional support, and dedication to ostomy care, everyone is connected and on the same team. During these unprecedented times the health, well-being and support of each other are more important than ever.

We've created a virtual Fund the Future team for UOAA’s Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k. We're celebrating the 10th anniversary of Ostomy Awareness Day and are proud to share the message that “Ostomies Are Life-Savers!”. This fundraising event helps support UOAA's programs and services benefiting the ostomy community.

Join our virtual Fund the Future team to show your continued support for the ostomy community and your WOC nurse colleagues! This is a great opportunity to get outside and walk "together" for a good cause. When you enter the site click the gray "Join Group/Team" button to register for our team.
For more information on the Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k,  click here .

Please consider making a small donation to Fund the Future to help grow the specialty of WOC nursing and further advance the quality of life for those in need of ostomy care.
Wishing you a wonderful and safe Independence day!
