WOCN Supports Legislation to Increase Access to Ostomy Supplies

WOCN sent written testimony to the Massachusetts Legislature supporting H.4162, An Act to Increase Access to Healthcare for Ostomy Patients. The legislation was heard before the Joint Committee on Financial Services and would provide coverage of all medical supplies for management of surgically created or spontaneous fistulas, coverage of supplies related to ostomy care and access to ostomy specialty nurses. This policy would apply to all payers in the state.
