Updated WTA Program is LIVE!
The new and improved WTA Program is up and running with exciting additions. Watch the video below to learn more.
Highlights of changes include but are not limited to:
  • Newly recorded learning modules, including video lectures.
  • Addition of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) to the list of competencies.
  • Currently in the process of acknowledging the 2016 NPUAP changes in terminology (pressure ulcer to pressure injury) in print materials.

I like to spend time with family as much as possible. My hobbies include reading, listening to music, walking, riding bikes, cooking and baking.

Mother Theresa because she is smart, strong and humble.
What's something on your bucket list?
Take a sabbatical in Rome.

Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York.
What advice do you have for nurses just starting their careers?
Be patient. Smile (even when you don't feel like it). Learn and keep learning.
What is your favorite part about being a WOC nurse?
I like being able to help patients feel human, feel loved and to have a laugh in the worst of situations, even at death's door.
