Mary Arnold Long, DNP, RN, CRRN, CWOCN-AP, ACNS-BC, has been a member of the WOCN Society for 31 years. She is the Owner of WOConsultation, LLC in Piney Flats, TN. Her educational background includes a BSN from the College of Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati, OH, an MSN from the University of Cincinnati, an ET Certificate from Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, MN, and a CNP from Otterbein University, Westerville, OH.

Joyce Pittman, PhD, CRNP, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, CWOCN, WOCNF, FAAN, has been a member of the WOCN Society for 26 years. She works as an Associate Professor at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. Her educational background includes a PhD in Nursing from Indiana University (2011), FNP from Northern Kentucky University (2004), an MSN ANP from Indiana University (2003), Emory WOCNEP (1999), a BSN from the University of South Florida (1979), and an ASN from Palm Beach Community College (1978).

Meghan Hielsberg, BSN, RN, CWON, has been a member of the WOCN Society for 8 years. She works as an Inpatient Wound and Ostomy Nurse and an Outpatient Ostomy Nurse at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin located at the Froedtert West Bend Hosptial. Her educational background includes obtaining her Wound and Ostomy Nurse Certification from Emory University in 2017 and graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from UW-Oshkosh in 2011.

She works as an APN Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse at RWJ Barnabas Health Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Her educational background includes a Master of Science Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, Newark, NJ (1993), a Bachelor of Science, Nursing from Wagner College, Staten Island, New York (1983), and a Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Education, from Abbott Northwestern School Of Enterostomal Therapy, Minneapolis, Minnesota (1990).

*Due to the appointment of Leah Abecassis as Chair of the Leadership Development Committee, Vittoria (Vicky) Pontieri-Lewis, MS, RN, ACNS-BC, CWOCN, has been elected to fill the remainder of the Area 3 Representative’s term. This specialized term is effective from June 2026 through June 2027, after which the position will return to its regular election cycle.
