Time is Running out to Submit Abstracts

The National Conference Planning Committee is hard at work developing the WOCN Society's 50th Annual Conference. The strong history of the Society will be exhibited, and the educational programs will be superior. The agenda is packed with expert presenters, as well as networking opportunities.

Less Than One Week Left to Submit Abstracts
The deadline to submit an abstract is only a few days away on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at 11:00 am ET! Authors will receive notification of acceptance or rejection in December 2017.

For the first time ever, you have the option to present an electronic poster (ePoster). The submission process is the same for traditional paper posters and ePosters. Mark your interest to be considered for this exciting new option on the Title Page of the submission process.

Call for Member Spotlight Sessions 
Do you know a hot topic or challenge facing WOC nurses? Are you an expert on a clinical topic?

The WOCN Society wants to hear from you! Submit a proposal to present a member spotlight session at the 50th Annual Conference.

During the concurrent Member Spotlight sessions, you will share your clinical experiences with attendees to shine a spotlight on how WOC nurses are uniquely qualified to identify and meet specific WOC healthcare challenges.

Topics of interest include:
  • Emerging health conditions
  • Medical interventions
  • Policy issues
  • Resourceful outcome measurements
49th Annual Conference Education Rebroadcast

Every year, the Society strives to present timely, relevant and informative educational content featuring industry leaders. In the coming months, we will rebroadcast the following ostomy-related sessions from the 49th Annual Conference. Each session will include a live Q&A with the presenter.

These sessions are FREE for members and non-members, but registration is required. Registration information will be available soon on In addition, participants will receive CE contact hours upon successful completion of each session.
