Learn About the Evolution of Convexity
Join us on Thursday, September 26 for the free webinar
" Convexity: Where Did it Come From and Where are We Now? ," presented by Janice C. Colwell , RN, MS, CWOCN, FAAN.
This session will provide the attendee with a historical perspective on the use of convexity in the management of a patient with a stoma. To understand where we are now with product choices, it is important to step back and review the evolution of various shapes of convex pouching systems. We will examine types of convexities including degrees of convex products, location of the convexity and stability (hard soft light rigid) of convexity. Case studies will illustrate the use of convex products in management of the patient with a stoma.
This is the 2nd webinar in a two-part series about Convexity supported by an educational grant from ConvaTec. Click here, to view a free recording of the first webinar in this series, "Convex Product Choices to Improve Patient Care."

If you joined us live for the first webinar in this series and want to learn more, listen to our  WOCTalk podcast episode with session speakers Donna Sellers, BSN, RN, CWON, and Jill Hammond, BSN, RN, CWOCN of ConvaTec.
