We All Walk Together.
Wound, ostomy and continence (WOC) nurses, future WOC nurses, ostomates, their families, their friends and their employers all walk together. Through education, clinical and emotional support, and dedication to ostomy care, everyone is connected and on the same team. During these unprecedented times the health, well-being and support of each other are more important than ever.

The WOCN® Society has created a virtual Fund the Future team for UOAA’s 2020 Virtual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k. We are celebrating the 10th anniversary of Ostomy Awareness Day and are proud to share the message that “Ostomies Are Life-Savers!”. This fundraising event for UOAA helps support their programs and services benefiting the ostomy community. We invite you to join our virtual Fund the Future team to show your continued support for the ostomy community and your WOC nurse colleagues! Register for our virtual Fund the Future team. Make sure you click the gray "Join Group/Team" button to register for our team.

Please visit UOAA’s Ostomy 5k website for more details on the virtual run/walk event. This is a great opportunity to get outside and walk "together" for a good cause!

Please consider making a small donation to Fund the Future to help grow the specialty of WOC nursing and further advance the quality of life for those in need of ostomy care.
